So bright the flames burned in our hearts,

that we found each other in the dark.

Being a team of creative and passionate wedding suppliers, we love to get together and create unique and daring designs. Although we set this shoot in the coming of Halloween, we want to say to couples… be you any time of the year, including your wedding day. You have one day that’s yours, to celebrate your love, your way, in your own style. Everyone who comes to celebrate with you, loves you for you! Do not be afraid to break the mould.

To embrace the autumn season we opted for warm rich colours that also reflect the dark side of the theme, such as gold, burgundy, yellow and orange that evoke warmth reminding us of things like the sun or fire, using candle lit flames to bring this cosy yet mystical setting together. Inviting a soft hint of pink, peach and ivory also created a touch of femininity to the overall feeling.

Not wanting Halloween to take complete focus of the shoot, the Bride wore a long sleeved lace dress and shone in a full glam makeup look for the day, with a switch up to an evening dress, goddess style head piece and skeleton face paint for the evening, which in no way distracted from her beauty. The Groom also went for a relaxed autumnal suit for the daytime, with a sharp look for the evening, which really enhanced his skeleton make over.

Tying both Halloween and Autumn together, we completed our theme with pumpkin favours, skeletons, wild greenery with fruits, a black cake and a rustic candle lit ceremony set in the medieval grounds of

Abingdon’s historical Abbey Buildings.
